Listed below are fundraising, awareness, and memorial events organized by members of our network of volunteers to benefit the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation and assist in our mission of creating awareness of, and funding research to cure, mesothelioma.
Would you like to organize an event or activity to raise awareness of mesothelioma and raise funds for mesothelioma research to better mesothelioma treatments and find a cure? We will help. Call or email the Meso Foundation staff at info@curemeso.org, to discuss your idea and how to make it happen.

7:30am: 1 Mile Family Fun Run begins (Everyone is Welcome! Strollers, Wheelchairs, Runners, Walkers, All Ages)
8:00am: 8K begins (Walkers and Runners are welcome)

Registration is $25 for the 8K, $10 for an individual in the Fun Run, $20 for family in the Fun Run
Register by August 26th to be guaranteed a race t-shirt

Standing cyclist will finish his ride from Pittsburgh, PA in Washington, DC where Meso Patient Larry Davis hopes to run the last leg of the trip alongside Frank the cyclist to raise awareness for mesothelioma.

It is hard to believe that nearly two years have passed since the inaugural William L. McCarthy Memorial Golf Tournament. Thanks to your support, we were able to donate over $25,000 to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (MARF) in 2008. For those of you have that have inquired about the tournament, we thank you for your continued interest and support. We have great hopes to meet, if not surpass, this goal this year.
If you would like to participate, please contact us as soon as possible as at wlmtourney@gmail.com, as we need to gauge interest for the tournament now. If you know of other people who may be interested in playing, we are always looking for more golfers, so please feel free to pass on this information.

This is an established race on the annual calendar of the Boca Raton Road Runners Club; what is new is that this year the proceeds will go to the Meso Foundation. At 64, and 3 years after his diagnosis, Larry regularly competes in triathlons and road races. Come out, run alonside Larry and support the cause!
