Meso Foundation adds members to its leadership boards

The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of six new members to its Board of Directors (BOD) and six new members to its Science Advisory Board (SAB). The two boards are tasked with governing the organization and overseeing the organization’s research grants program, respectively.

“We are inspired by the talent and credentials of the members of our governing board and our Science Advisory Board. I look forward to working with them to promote the mission of this Foundation,” said Mary Hesdorffer, nurse practitioner and executive director of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.

The Meso Foundation’s BOD assumes responsibility for ensuring the organization’s long-term financial stability and integrity and – through consensus and majority vote with the other members – for governing the organization and setting its strategic direction and broad policy directives. A full list of members can be found on the Foundation’s website.
