Finding the right mesothelioma expert can be complicated. Allow us to provide you with the specialist referral that is best for you. The ideal specialist will depend on your location, goals and specific type of mesothelioma (pleural vs. peritoneal, operable vs. non-operable, epithelioid vs. sarcomatoid), but don’t worry, we will cover that with you.
Travel Grant Program
We provide financial assistance to help patients consult with mesothelioma specialists or enroll in clinical trials away from home. Learn if you qualify for our Travel Grant Program.
Participate in support groups online or by phone
We host professionally-moderated Zoom support groups and online support groups for patients, caregivers, and our bereaved community. During our annual conference, we also host in person support groups. Joining a group is easy, but does require a brief interaction with our team.

Peer to peer support
Especially when first diagnosed with mesothelioma, many patients feel isolated. For this reason, the Meso Foundation has developed its Peer-to-Peer Support Program. Through this program, we identify and connect you with members of our mesothelioma community who “have been there, and have done that.”
International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma
The Meso Foundation’s International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma is a unique conference that brings together the entire mesothelioma community. We invite patients, their families, caregivers, and the bereaved community, to learn about the latest in treatment options, speak face-to-face with top mesothelioma experts, and find community and support with others.
