Light the World Blue for Mesothelioma Awareness

light the world blue

On this Mesothelioma Awareness Day, the mesothelioma community will once again work in their local communities to light the world blue! As part of this campaign, our community members across the country and across the world will reach out to landmarks that typically feature lighting in their localities requesting that on September 26 they light the landmark blue. This will be the campaign’s third year and will build on the success of previous years.

One of the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation’s sponsors, Novocure, started this campaign in 2020, and has again this year lead the charge securing over 40 participating landmarks.

This Light the World Blue campaign is one of several activities meant to raise awareness of mesothelioma, and the hardships facing mesothelioma patients and their families, among our friends and communities. More activities are listed on our website at www.curemeso.org/awareness.

Last year, we had a huge outpouring of support that resulted in over 30 buildings, bridges, and other landmarks participating.

Over the next few weeks, we will list all locations committed to light the world blue on this page. As you make arrangements with your local landmarks, please let us know so we can add them to the list on this page. On September 26, if you find yourself near one of these landmarks please make sure to visit, take a photo, and send it to us!
