Loc Ta is a Principal at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he focuses on business development and large-scale technology modernization for public sector organizations, including state and local governments and higher education institutions. Over his career, Loc has worked at the intersection of technology, strategy, and public service, helping organizations adopt cloud and data-driven solutions to improve outcomes for the communities they serve.
Loc is also a mesothelioma patient and survivor, diagnosed in 2021. His personal experience has made him a passionate advocate for patient-centered research, access to leading-edge clinical trials, and increased investment in rare cancer research. He brings both professional expertise and a deeply personal perspective to the Board, with a strong commitment to advancing research, supporting patients and families, and accelerating progress toward better treatments.
